It may take as long as 4 or 5 hours to unthaw.
3. If you have the standard configuration and it continues to leak, check the drain in the freezer. It must be located underneath the coils in the rear. Pour some water and vinegar down the drain to see if it is blocked. If it is blocked, you can put your frozen food in a cooler; unplug it and wait a while. This should thaw the drain; once unfrozen, pour water down it to see if it is unblocked. If not, use the pipe cleaner and see if you can stick it down there to get it unclogged.
